Sources: Canadian youth international Sergei Kozlovskiy to leave CF Montréal, garnering interest from CPL and Europe

16-year old left-back and Canadian youth international Sergei Kozlovskiy is leaving CF Montréal, sources told The Wanderers Notebook on Saturday.

Kozlovskiy, a Montréal-native, has played the last 18 months with the Québec-based club’s U-18s. However, the young defender has made the decision to leave the club in pursuit of first team minutes. Sources said there’s interest from both the CPL and Europe.

Kozlovskiy has been part of Canada Soccer’s youth programs for some time, including playing for Canada at the recent U-17 World Cup qualifiers.
