Sources: Defender Rezart Rama training with Forge FC in Mexico

Although his loan from Albania's top flight hasn't been officially confirmed, sources told The Wanderers Notebook on Tuesday that defender Rezart Rama is in Mexico attending Forge FC's training camp. It's expected that the 24-year old's one-year loan from KF Egnatia will be approved over the next several days.
OneSoccer's Oliver Platt was the first to report the reunion between Rama and Forge only one year after the Albanian-Greek defender departed Hamilton. Rama previously spent two seasons with Forge, collecting 54 appearances en route to two North Star Cups in 2022 and 2023. Earlier, the defender spent three seasons with Nottingham Forest FC.
Rama's addition is the latest in a serious of moves for Forge; yesterday, they announced former Wanderer Dan Nimick only weeks after re-signing star Tristan Borges and scooping Players' Player of the Year Brian Wright from York United.
