Sources: Full-back Kadin Chung in talks with Pacific FC

Full-back Kadin Chung is a free agent, with Vancouver FC officially announcing this week that the club had declined to exercise his option. His next move, however, may be to a familiar place as Chung's camp and Pacific FC have begun talks about a potential reunion, sources told The Wanderers Notebook on Thursday.
Sources said the two parties are interested, with Chung already very familiar with life on Vancouver Island thanks to the championship and 63 appearances he notched with the club between 2019 and 2021, but it remains to be seen if they can strike a deal that works for both sides.
Previously, Chung became the third CPL player to sign for an MLS club following a successful trial with Toronto FC in 2022. He managed 18 appearances between the Red's first team and MLS Next Pro, opting to leave the club to sign with the newly minted Vancouver FC after his playing time was reduced under head coach Bob Bradley.
Chung was a big part of the Eagles' plans going into 2023 but a broken collarbone kept him out for much of the season. In total, the defender leaves Vancouver FC with 34 appearances in all competitions.
