Updated: Moses Dyer, Ayman Sellouf swap finalized between B.C. rivals

The intra-league trade between Vancouver FC and Pacific is complete, sources tell The Wanderers Notebook, sending striker Moses Dyer across the Salish Sea to Vancouver Island in exchange for Ayman Sellouf. Manuel Veth of Transfermarkt first reported the trade.

Dyer, 27, joined the Eagles in March after spending 2023 with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Prior to playing in the United States, Dyer played three seasons with Valour FC, leaving as the Winnipeg-based club’s all-time leading goal scorer. He registered four goals and one assist through 13 matches with Vancouver FC this year.

Sellouf, 22, leaves a struggling Pacific side which has had issues finding the back of the net, having scored only 14 goals in league play this season. The Dutchman made 13 appearances for the Tridents in 2024, registering four markers.

Previously, this outlet reported Vancouver was looking to shake up their roster as they make a push for the playoffs following a poor run of form which included only one win in their last 10 matches. The Wanderers Notebook confirmed that the club is also actively shopping midfielder Gabriel Bitar, who has offers from the Halifax Wanderers and Pacific FC. Speaking to sources, the likelyhood of dealing Bitar — who had garnered interest — following Dyer's departure is low but noted at least one other Vancouver player may be in play.
